Find one!!!

Well, given dudes don't commonly wear them and it's a myth perpetuated by those who don't want them in vogue anymore, it's unsurprising to hear that they're still uncomfortable. Plus oldentime corsets weren't actually made of whale bone, but of whale /baleen/ (as in their teeth cartilage) and were flexible as hell, but not actually rigid enough to change body shape permanently as the corsets of today can. I think steelbone corsets came into being mid-to-late 1800s but I am probably a bit off.

This is a fact.

The more you know... Smile

I need to be a lot more comfortable driving the car before I take it on the track. I owe a lot of money on that car and if you tell your insurance company you crashed a car on the track they will politely laugh at you and tell you to go fuck yourself.

I've done that before with things I was curious about. Things. *Shifty eyes* Oddly I've read way more about my car today then before buying it.

I do, I'll try and finish it this weekend.

This is true. Plus getting in a crash doesn't sound like much fun either way.

Such things such as? Pretty sure no one will judge you man, ha.

No, high speed crashes suck pretty bad. I've been in a couple.

The sort of things I did in my early 20s.

Highways in the winter.

I once spun out on black ice doing 80kph and miraculously managed to bring my car to a stop on a turn off only to be hit by a tailgating idiot who was already headed for the ditch when he clipped my car. This cost me $1000 and hurt my relationship with my insurance company.

I've also had a tire blow out while my buddy was behind the wheel of my car. We got flung off the road and were snow blind while we spun around in the ditch. Thankfully we were still in Alberta not BC and hit nothing instead of a tree. The car had to be towed, I had to buy a new set of tires and we went home for New Year's instead of Christmas.

Lot's. I've seen Gorsh the God of Light who was in no way my buddy mumbling while struggled to put on his hoodie under a light bulb. I've done that thing where you watch the Wizard of Oz while listening to The Wall; the flowers dancing and swirling to the tune of the music really drives home how well they sync up. I've seen the green stick man that lives in Prince George in line at McDonalds. Walked along a treacherous icy ledge above a disgusting puddle that I would not have tried to cross sober, like it was nothing (my buddy hated the fact that I was blatantly not paying attention after he had really struggled through it). Bought large amounts of junk food only to immediately loose interest in them and all kinds of other shit that would be even harder to explain.

Smile I definitely had some good times. Thanks for reminding me to think about them.

You might want to check out Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas as a book as well of some of Hunter S. Thompsons other works. He's about as good as anyone gets at writing while on drugs about the incredibly wild stuff he was doing on drugs.

I did read Fear and Loathing! Weirded me right the fuck out, mostly the included art did that. Always wanted to watch the movie though.

You wouldn't expect it but it is the absolute best adaptation of a book to movie I have ever seen.

By the way http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Crown_Victoria_Police_Interceptor Mine's a 2008 if you're interested in reading a bit about my car.

Because while they take off all the identifiers and stuff that only cops can legally have they leave you with all the stuff that makes it drive like a cop car. The article doesn't say much about the suspension but it's incredible, you can roll over potholes, train tracks and even speed bumps and barely feel a thing.

So basically it is still a small tank.

I'd like to see that thing try to drive in Pittsburgh, we've got so many damn potholes. Some of them might as well be considered secondary roads. ~_~

But much faster. Needs a replacement set of bull bars but yeah, it would hit like a tank.

So does Edmonton. Snow plows tend to fuck up streets pretty bad. The suspension is designed so that you can drop it off a curb at high speeds. Potholes will still cause wear and tear to my suspension but they won't fuck with how the ride feels.

Hahaaha, there's a section of highway leading out of Pittsburgh that is super weirdly paved; take rumble strips and instead have that be the entire section, but every two feet instead of every few inches. Talking while driving over that at 60 mph is fun as hell and annoys the shit out of my mom when we all go "AaaaaAaaaaaaaaaAAAaaaaaaaaAAAAA" as she drives over it.

I hate rumble strips. They are such a fucking ignorant thing to put on the road. I know this intersection is here, it's obvious as fuck with all it's lights. Their is no need to be damaging people's cars since they are still horrible even if your going slow. Such bullshit.

It's to wake people up if they're drifting off the road I believe.

Those ones aren't so bad. Their are places in Alberta where they are perpendicular to the road instead of parallel and you have to drive over them. They put them there to make you aware that you need to slow down for something very fucking obvious.

EDIT:

Irrelevant edit, got my new corset and it is so sweeeeeeeet. Very Happy Can't wait to actually wear it tightlaced but I gotta get it seasoned (meaning accustomed to bending itself to my body shape without warping/breaking).

My post falls apart at the end and has no dialogue because I'm too fucking tired to do much put tack a couple sentences onto what was meant as the beginning of a post a while back. Sorry, hopefully my next post will be better.
